Clean, Sweet and Oh So Fabulous!

I love, Love, LOVE, beauty products. Because of this, I'm always trying a variety of products from different brands.

At the moment, these are my recent top 3 products for this week.

FACE

My favorite beauty product at the moment for giving me a squeaky clean face is Mask of Magnaminty from Lush. I have used it about twice a week  for the past couple of months and I really do feel like it's cleaning deep into my pores. My boyfriend the other day commented on how my face looks "less bumpier" (his words) and nicer. I believe it's a combination of using this mask and my Clarisonic Mia daily.

BODY

I have super dry skin, so I have an array of lotions, body butters. etc. Lately, I have been using Mark's Body Butters every night. My two favorite scents are Lemon Sugar and Plum Berry. I alternate between the two of them. Although the scents are on the stronger side, they are not overpowering. I love both  of them. The scents are both sweet and feminie.

HANDS

I received Julep's Rock Star Cream in my March box recently. Yesterday, I put it on like 3 times. Remember when I said that my skin is dry. Well if someone took a look at my hands, they would have thought they are looking at the hands of someone who is 50 years older than me. However, this cream makes my hands soft and they feel hydrated for a long period of time. I'm officially in love with this product.

Glowing from the Inside Out

 This month MARK. has some amazing fashion and makeup items that had me swooning.

The one item that I've been using everyday is the Connect the Dots Scarf.

It's more of a nude brown color then blush pink, like the site states. However, it is super cute and warm.

 

My T-Rex loving self even took it to NY Museum of Natural History.

The other product I love is the new Touch and Glow Warm.

I'm a big fan of the original touch and glow, so I was excited when this one came out. I swipe my brush all over this palette and put it on my face for a warm glow. I also use indivdual cubes as eye shadows, especially the lighter ones to highlight the inner corners of my eyes.

Must Haves: Mark., Lace & Freebies

Let me first just say that lace is my new favorite thing this year. For some reason, I can't seem to get enough of it. That is why I was super excited when I saw this new lace top.

Out of This World- Nails & Makeup

Last night Refinery29 posted a picture up of a super cute manicure, so of course I wanted to try it out.

This was the original photo that they posted:

Here is my manicure that I did this morning. (Sorry it's a bit fuzzy)

Even my doggie, Mia, can't believe how bad my picture is. hehehehe

Anyway, back to the nails. For the blue, I used Essie's Aruba Blue. For the silver, I used Illamasqua's Glory .

When my mother saw the mani, she told me that it looked like I had on a NASA manicure. 
I think she is completely right. This is now my new NASA Manicure and it is out of this world. 
Yes, that is my actual NASA shirt by the way. I was just like any other kid when I was little. I wanted to work as an astronomer for NASA. Isn't that what every little kid wants to do?

 



For my Out Of This World makeup, I took inspiration from Mark. 's new magalog.

After playing with makeup, this is what I came up with:

For My Face I used:
Mark. Got The Goods Foundation lotion with spf 15 in LIGHT 3
Mark. Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette for a nice bronze glow
On the cheeks, I used Mark. Light Show Illuminating Face Powder

For my Eyes:
I used Mark.  Star Status Eyeshadow Palette in Meteor Showers

From the Palette, I used the white, silverish color in my inner eyes and lids.
I used the green on outer lids and corners
The black , charcoal color I used as a liner for my lower and upper lash line.

The green color on this palette actually shows up on my skin as more of a Moss Color then a green, so I layered the color with I-mark Wet/Dry Eye Shadow in Empress 

For the Lips, I used Mark. Make It Rich Lip Color Crayon in Naturally.  

I love this new Star Status Palette, especially the white color. It's gorgeous! What do you guys think?

Pick & Choose: Outfit of the Day

I'm really excited because my awesome boyfriend gave me the Clarisonic Mia Skin Care System. I've only used it for a couple of days, so I can't give you a proper review yet. I will do a better, more detailed, review with before and after pictures in about a month. The one thing I have realized in this short time is that my skin does feel smoother. If you want to know how it goes, come back in to visit my blog next month.


In other news, today at work we were able to wear jeans and have a more casual dress down day. This is exciting for me because I have to wear a uniform every day. This is what I chose to wear:

Jeans are from Express and they are Eva Curvy Fit (Mid Rise) Skinny Jeans - I've tried to find this type of jeans on Express's website, but it doesn't seem like they make the Eva jeans anymore. Does anyone know for sure?

Falling for Fashion: Autumn Outfit of the Day

I love the beginning of Fall. There is a cool, crisp breeze, but it's still warm enough, so you don't need a coat.  It's Awesome!

Hitting the Mark- Make It Rich Lip Crayon

My post today is about some new products that Mark has come out with that are amazing.

In case you don't know, Mark is a division of Avon, and they have really great cosmetics, skin care, clothing, accessories, etc.

One of their newer products that I really like is Mark's Make It Rich Lip Color Crayon .  ($11 each)

These lip crayons are creamy, beautiful and they last for a long time. They can definietly be used on their own. I usually put a lipgloss on top to add more shine.

Make it Rich- Naturally Color

This is a nude color, but it does have a bit of shimmer.

  

Make it Rich- Punch Color

This color is a light pink. I like to put it on when my eye makeup is heavy and I want a light lip color to balance it out.  I also like to add lip gloss on top of this color to make it pop a bit more.

My Complete Look:

This look was done with Mark's new Wet/ Dry Eyeshadows

I used them dry and the colors are Ice Age, Biscotti, Empress and Tiki

Mark's Touch and Glow on my face, which is my favorite Mark product at the moment. 

The Eyeliner is Mark's No Place to Run Eyeliner in Jet Set and the lips are Naturally Lip Crayon.
